ST Connector     A fiber-optic cable connector that uses a bayonet plug and socket. It was the first de facto standard connector for most commercial wiring. For bi-directional transmission, two fiber cables and two ST connectors are generally used.

SC Connector     A fiber-optic cable connector that uses a push-pull latching mechanism similar to common audio and video cables. For bi-directional transmission, two fiber cables and two SC connectors (Dual SC) are generally used.  Also available in a APC 8.0 degree polish.

FC Connector       A fiber-optic cable connector that uses a threaded plug and socket. For bi-directional transmission, two fiber cables and two FC connectors are generally used. Also available in a APC  8.0 degree polish

FC connectors come with either step or conical ferrules.  We use Step unless otherwise specified in our cable assemblies.

LC Connector     A miniaturized version of the fiber-optic SC connector. It looks just like the SC, but is half the size with a 1.25 mm ferrule instead of 2.5 mm. Also available in a APC 8.0 degree polish

Hybrid Connector Options

Any Fiber Optic Connector combination can be provided at little to no extra cost.

Any Fiber Optic Cable 3.0mm, 2.0mm, 1.8mm, 1.6mm, 900um, 250um can be provided

at little to no extra cost.
