The SC fiber optic connectors on this high-performance fiber optic patch cord have an APC or "Angled Physical Contact" polish on the fiber optic connector end faces. This angled polish reduces the amount of light reflected at the interface between two connected fibers. These fiber optic patch cord is ideal for applications where minimum back reflection is desired, including patch panels and workstations. Typical loss is 0.2dB and back reflection is -65dB. This top-quality fiber optic patchcord exceeds industry standards. In addition to this fiber optic patch cord style, we can provide fiber optic cable assemblies for every application. You can order fiber optic jumper cables terminated with any combination of ST, SC, FC, and LC fiber optic connectors.
