ST Fiber Optic Attenuator
Fibertronics supplies both UPC ST fiber optic attenuator and APC ST fiber optic attenuator for single mode applications; they are with 1240nm to 1620nm compatible working wavelength, including the 1310nm and 1550nm typical single mode wavelength. These ST fiber attenuators are equipped with ceramic sleeves and features high quality and long lifetime. Attenuation range is from 1dB to 30dB.

VARIABLE AIR GAP ATTENUATOR |

The Air-Gap Variable Attenuator has a ceramic alignment sleeve that provides a low insertion loss of .15dB and can be used on both multimode and Singlemode applications. Included tool provides ability to increase attenuation level to desired “level”. Device may replace mating sleeve at the patch panel, enabling variable attenuation levels to be introduced to the system. Attenuation range is 0dB to 20dB. # DESCRIPTION |

This Variable Attenuator uses collimator lens technology enabling the user to change attenuation through the twist of a top mounted screw. Use this variable attenuator to simulate the loss in a fiber system or testing your system’s dynamic range. A power meter and light source can be used to determine the fixed attenuation value your system requires. The attenuator has a 0.8dB typical insertion loss and is available in a 2 meter length and may be connectorized.
