The Miller® FO 103-D-250 two hole design efficiently strips away the 1.6 to 3 mm jacket or 900 micron tight buffer & 250 micron buffer coating from the 125 micron bare fiber in one compact tool that is factory-set & does not require any adjustment. This fiber optic stripper is manufactured to precise tolerances, its diameter holes & V-openings in the blade allow for accurate & clean stripping without scratching or nicking the bare fiber. It features a pivot pin, spring & precision handles with printed stripping references to enhance the functionality & durability of the tool
The only fiber stripper with stripping holes produced by the precise and repeatable wire EDM process is the Miller® FO 103 Series of fiber optic strippers. Other competitive tools utilize a grinding process to shape the stripping hole geometry. Tools from the Miller FO 103 series are factory set and cannot be calibrated or altered. The tool's functionality may be periodically checked. A fine plastic bristles brush can be used to clean the instrument before and during the inspection to remove any debris from the entrance. Use dry compressed air to clean the aperture.
Caution: The tool should not be opened beyond factory preset limits. Forcing open the tool or bypassing the open position stop will result in loss of factory pre-set calibration and damage the tool.
