Details

The OPTIPOP R single-slot cleaner for MT offers significant savings on cleaning expenses. Utilizing a densely woven, anti-static micro-fiber cleaning fabric, it excels in eliminating harmful contaminants and dirt from ferrule end faces. Specifically designed for cleaning all single fiber and female MT connectors, this cleaner ensures optimal performance.

With its anti-static cloth material, it achieves a pristine fiber tip and reduces the risk of attracting further contaminants. The pre-washed cleaning fabric generates less than 70 particles larger than 1mm per cubic foot per minute (CFM), making it suitable for various production environments, including clean rooms.

Failure to address even a small area of contamination on the optical fiber core can lead to communication issues or degraded transmission quality. Therefore, it's essential to clean the optical connector end-face just before connection to prevent communication failures related to contamination.
