12 Fiber MPO/UPC Standard Male to Female - Multimode OM3 - Plenum (OFNP) - Method A

This 12-fiber MPO patch cable is built for parallel optic structured cabling deployments running OM3 multimode fiber. It is a laser-optimized 50/125µm multimode fiber, suited for high-speed short-reach links. This MPO connector uses UPC polish, a 0-degree endface with a slight convex curvature that gives clean physical contact between mated fibers, making it the standard choice for typical Ethernet and multimode data center connections. The male-to-female configuration pairs a pinned connector on one end with an unpinned connector on the other, converting gender at one end of the link, useful when the two ports being connected have different gender requirements. Method A maintains straight-through fiber mapping in a key-up to key-down orientation, where each fiber position at the near end arrives at the same position at the far end, specified when the cabling system requires direct fiber continuity without position reversal. The aqua jacket is listed Type OFNP under NEC Article 770, suitable for installation in ducts, plenums, and other air-handling spaces. The standard ferrule meets a maximum insertion loss of ≤0.60 dB for general multimode network applications.
