Product Overview
This 24-fiber MPO patch cable is built for high-density structured cabling deployments where maximizing channel capacity per MPO port is a priority. It uses OM4 laser-optimized 50/125µm multimode fiber, suited for extended-reach high-speed links. The UPC connector is polished to a convex dome end-face, creating a tight physical contact that eliminates air gaps and minimizes back reflection in multimode applications. Unpinned on both ends, this female-to-female cable is built to pair with pinned ports on either side of the link, such as MPO transceivers, bulkhead adapters, or cassette interfaces. This cable uses Row Flip polarity* providing a key-up to key-down orientation with a Pin 1 to Pin 13 mapping across the two-row connector interface. The 24-fiber count delivers twice the channel capacity of a 12-fiber assembly in the same physical footprint, making it the right choice when port density is a constraint and cable tray or conduit space is limited. This aqua jacket carries an OFNP listing, giving it flame-retardant and low-smoke-producing characteristics for use in ducts and plenums without added conduit. The standard ferrule meets a maximum insertion loss of ≤0.60 dB for general multimode network applications.
