1x32 PLC Fiber Optic Splitter
PLC Splitters are singlemode splitters with an even split ratio from one input fiber to multiple output fibers. This PLC Splitter is a 1x32, with 1 input and 32 output fibers, with an even split ratio across all fibers regardless of input wavelength. PLC Splitters are available with 900µm loose tube singlemode fiber, terminated or unterminated as per your needs. Unconnectorized PLC splitters come with no connectors for easy splicing or connectorization.
A PLC splitter is based on PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology and is suitable for high density applications. PLC splitters ensure that the transmission power at each splitter output port is identical, simplifying network architecture and reducing costs. By allowing a single PON Interface to be shared by multiple subscribers, optical splitters have played an essential role in passive optical networks.
