Fiber Optic Splice Closures (FOSC)
Our horizontal (or inline) fiber optic splice closures are durable housings designed to organize, protect, and secure fiber optic splices in long-distance or backbone installations. With an elongated, cylindrical or flat design, they support inline fiber routes where cables enter and exit from opposite ends, and many models feature mid-span access—enabling specific fibers to be tapped without cutting the entire cable. Made from high-tensile plastic with dependable sealing, these closures provide robust protection against water, dust, and harsh conditions. Suitable for wall, duct, aerial, or underground mounting, they offer flexible deployment in both outdoor and indoor environments while ensuring long-term mechanical integrity and reliable fiber management.
HTB-135
The HTB-135 horizontal splice closure is designed for versatile fiber splicing in outdoor environments, featuring 8 ports arranged as 4 on each side to support main cables up to 14 mm in diameter. Additionally, the closure includes 8 dedicated drop cable ports—compatible with up to 3 mm diameter cables or 3x2 drop cable configurations—located on the side opposite the hinge, optimizing cable management and installation flexibility.
With a splice capacity of 48 fibers housed in a single splice tray, the HTB-135 balances compact dimensions of 325 mm x 173 mm x 86 mm with ease of use. Its mechanical sealing system offers reliable protection against water and dust ingress, ensuring network integrity in aerial, duct, and wall-mounted applications.
