The Fibertronics, Inc. OptiWave™ MPO Cassette features an LGX footprint and enables seamless breakout from a 12 fiber MPO/UPC connector at the rear to 12 LC/UPC connectors at the front. This cassette uses high-quality Corning OM4 multimode fiber in a ribbon configuration, broken out to 12 pre-terminated LC connections.
Inside, the unit contains a fan-out cable assembly for efficient signal routing. Designed for flexibility, the cassette fits into both vertical and horizontal LGX-compatible MPO cassette holders.
Fibertronics MPO cassettes provide a no-splice, plug-and-play solution-eliminating the need for splice-on pigtails. These cassettes support multiple fiber types including Singlemode OS2 (9/125μm), Multimode OM1 (62.5/125μm), Multimode OM3 (50/125µm), and others. They are available with a range of connector types: LC, LC/APC, SC, SC/APC, FC, FC/APC, ST, and more. Options for male or female MPO connectors are also available to suit specific network designs.
In data centers and modular networks, the OptiWave™ LGX compatible cassette enhances manageability and scalability. As connectivity demands evolve, cassettes can be quickly replaced without disturbing existing trunk cabling infrastructure.
